About Nativity's Student Life Opportunities

Nativity offers several extra-curricular programs, which include athletic programs, academically oriented affiliations, and student inter groups. These extra-curricular activities are designed not as adjuncts to the school’s curricular program but as an essential part of the educational goals of the school. They are seen as opportunities for the NCS community to apply the teachings of the Catholic Church to human relationships: our Catholic mission and philosophies are meant to permeate all of our school activities whether they be inside or outside of the classroom. Please read all requirements listed below that your child/ren must meet to participate in any school extra-curricular program (sports, choir, yearbook, etc.).

Participation Policy Requirements

To participate in all student-life activities, students must maintain nothing less than a 2.5 GPA. Students must also maintain at least an "S" in Behavior and Work Habits.  All group moderators and/or coaches are free to raise any qualification they please. However, all qualifications may not go below a 2.5 GPA or “S” in Behavior and Work Habits. These qualifications must be met at all times throughout the scholastic year. Student's must have passing grades in all subjects. An "F" is not acceptable and will result in removal from their team/group/organization.

If the students achieve their requirements of a 2.5GPA and all passing grades, they will be readmitted to the extra-curricular.
