Greetings Nativity Families,

We are so pleased to welcome all of our families, new and old, to the 2017-18 school year and to our newly renovated campus!

Through a generous grant given to us by the Shea Family Charities, our entire school has received new whiteboards, projectors, flooring, lighting, air conditioning and fans, renovated bathrooms, interior and exterior paint, indoor water fountains, and new electrical wiring and fiber optic cabling that houses a high-powered internet system.

In addition, both buildings received new roofing, our aftercare room was completely renovated, and last but not least, our new security gate with camera security is in place.  In the next two weeks, the final phase of the construction will be completed which is a new perimeter fence along Carson Street (you will also notice that the TK and Kindergarten yard fence is new and improved).

We at Nativity feel very blessed to have these renovations which will not only increase student learning and productivity but also increase every student's school experience -- this truly is an exciting time for the Nativity community!

It is with great excitement that we welcome aboard Miss Kara Rooney as Nativity's new First Grade teacher! Miss Rooney was born and raised in Southern California and attended University of California, Irvine where she studied Education and Musical Theater. Having grown up the daughter of an athletic director at a local Catholic high school, Miss Rooney has always had a passion for giving back and helping children, which prompted her to pursue a K-6th grade California Teaching Credential and become a teacher.

Please remember that on Monday the 28th school announcements begin at 7:50am sharp and that there is no parking on Madrid - our drop-off service will be in full effect so that parents may easily drop their students off at the Madrid gate as usual.  Additionally, our wonderful PTO will be hosting Coffee and Kleenex at the lunch benches at 8:00am to help any parent who is having a hard time dropping off their little ones.

God bless all of our Nativity community.

Yours In Christ,

Dr. Michelle Wechsler
